This place is amazing. I really only come here for dessert since their Crepes and Waffles are amazing, but their food is actually really good as well. This time around we just got dessert. We brought our little one with us and the staff were really nice to her and accommodating (even though she was pretty well behaved for a toddler). We ordered a waffle with Nutella and Bananas and chocolate cereal with a bit of ice cream. Also got a crepe with Nutella and strawberries. It was simply drowning in chocolate. Lastly we also got a cacao 70 hot chocolate. Soooo good. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for brunch or just anytime dessert.
I was over the moon excited when I saw that Barrie was getting a Cacao 70. There was only one in Toronto before this. The food is amazing. My all time favourite item is the fondue platter it is so much fun to get as a single or to share. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I came once a week for the first month this place was open. I can’t wait to try more menu items.

The highlight of my visit, however, was undoubtedly the food. I had the waffle sandwich pictured, and it was simply amazing. The waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, creating an ideal balance of textures. The ingredients inside were fresh and flavorful, making each bite a delightful experience. The combination of savory and slightly sweet was well executed, and the presentation was also impressive. The drinks were also amazing and customizable too! Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal coupled with great service. It’s a must-visit for food lovers!
First time at Cacao 70 and it was amazing! We had breakfast, dessert, and coffee – everything was delicious. My kids loved it and really enjoyed their food. The owners were so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend
Me and my girlfriend dined here yesterday and everything was so amazing !! This is the second time I have been and I will be going back for sure! The service is awesome, the owners are lovely and very friendly. The food is outstanding and their chocolate is to die for!!! If you’re in barrie you need to visit this location you absolutely will not regret it !
Such a beautiful ambiance inside! The customer service was also amazing and Shweta the owner had a great aura and energy about her. I ordered a single fondue and the chocolate sauce was the best I've ever tasted. I love that this place uses natural healthy ingredients and no additives. A healthy choice for a dessert place which makes it even better. Will definitely be back 10/10 highly recommend!
This place is so cute! I love the decor, the staff are so friendly and prompt, willing to do anything for you to ensure your experience is top tier it’s rare to find a restaurant that cares the way they do! Also the food.....10/10 recommend!! Like look at the Dubai chocolate strawberries and kanafe cheesecake
Came across this resto randomly and I must say- it didn't disappoint! The owner was a gentleman and even gave us a sample of their signature hot chocolate and it was sweet, just like his gesture. The food itself also tasted good! The price is as expected of a high-end brunch place but the aesthetic is def giving Check out this new place if you love good food and good vibes!
